Directions from Grand Rapids / Lansing / Detroit

1. Take I-96 West to Muskegon
2. Exit I-96 (West) onto US-31 (North) taking the exit 1-B toward Ludington
3. Exit US-31 at the Russell Rd (also B-23) exit mile marker 121
4. Turn Right (North) onto Russell Rd.(B-23)
5. Follow Russell Rd.(B-23) until it ends (Approx 10 miles) at Fruitvale Rd.(also B-86)
6. Turn Right (East) onto Fruitvale Rd.(B-86)
7. Go 1 more mile to Oak Knoll Family Campground located on the Left side (North) of the road.

 Caution Note: You will come to a Fork be sure to Stay Left

Directions from Holland / Benton Harbor / South Bend

1. Take US-31 North through Muskegon
2. Exit US-31 at Russell Rd (also B-23) exit mile marker 121
3. Follow Russell Rd.(B-23) until it ends (Approx 10 miles) at Fruitvale Rd.(also B-86)
4. Turn Right (East) onto Fruitvale Rd.(B-86)
5. Go 1 more mile to Oak Knoll Family Campground located on the Left side (North) of the road.

 Caution Note: You will come to a Fork be sure to Stay Left

Directions from Ludington

1. Take US-31 South from Ludington
2. Exit US-31 at Fruitvale Rd. also known as B-86
3. Turn Left (East) onto Fruitvale Rd.(B-86)
4. Follow only the signs "B-86" toward Fremont - (see "Caution Note" below)
5. Go approximately 11 miles to Oak Knoll Family Campground located on the Left side (North) of the road.

 Caution Note: After turning Left onto Fruitvale Rd./B-86 from US-31, Only follow the B-86 signs toward Fremont, MI. All the way to the campground. The Fruitvale Rd name changes often during the next 11 miles (even dead ends) and is not reliable, But the B-86 road signage is reliable all the way to the campground.

Directions from Kalamazoo/Battle Creek

1. Take US-131 North toward Grand Rapids
2. Exit US-131 (North) by taking I-96 West towards Muskegon
3. Exit I-96 (West) onto US-31(North) taking the exit 1-B toward Ludington
4. Exit US-31 at Russell Rd (also B-23) exit mile marker 121
5. Turn Right (North) onto Russell Rd.(B-23)
6. Follow Russell Rd.(B-23) until it ends (Approx 10 miles) at Fruitvale Rd. (also B-86)
7. Turn Right (East) onto Fruitvale Rd.(B-86)

8. Go 1 more mile to Oak Knoll Family Campground located on the Left side (North) of the road.

 Caution Note: You will come to a Fork be sure to Stay Left

.Directions from Saginaw/Bay City/Alma/Howard City

1. Take M-46 West to US-131
2. Take US-131 South toward Grand Rapids for 1.5 miles to highway M-82
3. Exit US-131 at M-82 
4. Turn Right (West) onto M-82 toward Newaygo
5. Follow M-82 through Newaygo
6. M-82 Turns Left (West) at stop light after crossing the bridge
7. Follow M-82 toward Fremont
8. Follow M-82 through Fremont and for another 5 miles
9. M-82 ends at 4-way stop (M-120)
10. Go straight through 4-way stop and the road now becomes Skeels Rd.(also B86)
11. Follow Skeels Rd.(B-86) West
12. In about 8 miles you will come to a sharp curve to the Left
13. After curve, go 1/4 mile and Turn Right onto Fruitvale Rd.(also B-86)
14. Go 1/2 mile and Oak Knoll Family Campground is on the Right

Caution Note: US-31 and US-131 are two different highways. US-31 follows the Lake Michigan shoreline while US-131 goes through the center of the state. Do not confuse these two highways. I-96 and I-196 are two different highways. I-196 splits off of I-96 near Grand Rapids and heads south. Make sure to stay on I-96.
